What is the cost for a week of summer camp?
The fee is $300.00 per camper per week.
How soon should I register my child?
Registration for summer camp begins January 1st and is open until all spots are filled. If sessions are full, we will gladly add you to our waitlist.
Please fill out the registration form and mail along with a $100 deposit
What ages can attend summer camps?
We work with children ages 5 to 17 for our summer camps. If there is someone who does not fall within this age group, we would be happy to discuss scheduling private horseback riding lessons for them.
Does my child have to have prior horse riding experience to attend?
No riding experience is necessary for your child to attend our summer camp program.
Other than riding horses what else what my child be doing?
Lots of fun stuff! They will learn basic horse and barn care management, learn equine health issues, grooming and tacking, and how to properly feed a horse. In addition, they will participate in an equine related craft, a horse-less horse show, roping challenges and even a barn scavenger hunt!
How often will my child be on a horse?
Each camper will have two daily mounted lessons suited to their riding ability.
What should my child bring with them?
Please make sure to bring boots with a heel, jeans or riding pants, sunscreen, a lunch, snack and water, and an ASTM/SEI approved riding helmet. In addition, please bring shorts and sneakers for non-barn activities. Protective riding vests are recommended but not required. Please make sure we have all required paperwork.
May I bring my own horse to camp?
Absolutely, we'd love to meet your horse! Please be prepared to trailer your horse daily to and from camp as we will not be able to board it for the week. Also, make sure to bring us proof of negative coggins test within 3 years, 3-way vaccine, and rabies vaccine.
Is a refrigerator available for my camper's lunch?
Yes! Please bring a few beverages, a lunch and a snack. We have a refrigerator available for all campers.
